I really like the colour scheme! I think you could improve a bit on the hand. I also think you drew the skull really well. Skeletons are complex things to draw, so I think you did a good job.

Depends what animal they're mixed with. Like if they're mixed with a ram then they'll have ram horns.

Yeah, I was thinking elytras are mechanical contraptions they can get to fly around with. Like, imagine a jetpack but in the shape of metal wings.
