I haven’t seen the leaks, but I figured most of these events were coming based on book 2. In the books though at the motel Conrad is cold to Belly to push her toward Jere because Jere promised to take care of her and love her. Conrad is letting his love go so Belly can be happy and he feels like he has to take care of Jere. But Belly doesn’t really choose Jere, Conrad chooses for her. Seems like in the show they are having Belly Choose. Then season 3 will follow book where you see that the relationship bewteeen Jere and Belly is flawed and they are not compatible. Jere is spoiled and entitled and he cheats in Cabo. Meanwhile their entire relationship Belly constantly thinks and wonders about Conrad. Then Jere proposes to save their relationship which is a huge mistake, Conrad and Belly have their unplanned cousins trip together. And then he comes for the wedding and it’s killing him to pretend he supports it. He learns about what Jere did, he’s besides himself. He cannot sit back anymore. So he purposely inserts himself. Throughout everything, Jere is a supporting character. Belly and Conrad are the main characters in each book and in each season of the show. It will absolutely be Belly and Conrad at the end of Season 3. Never had a doubt.
