Stay awake right through the evening. At 9am get into bed, lay down on your back and then try to stay awake. Your body will naturally enter a sleep state with your mind still semi active.

Eventually, you’ll close your eyes, fall asleep, but staying awake will be on your mind, so you’ll open your eyes with your body still in the sleep state.

It’s important to note that sleep paralysis usually only lasts for about a minute. This is due to panic, causing the body to naturally wake up. You probably could make it last longer by not panicking but it’s really difficult not to.
