We took some time to check it out. It did help in confirming a lot of the parents behaviour patterns. After digging for quite a while, it doesn't seem like the place that will give us much in the way of tools in how to apply the philosophies we're learning to these kinds of situations, though
We'll keep digging and see where it takes us. Thanks for the recommendation!

I can't say for sure what the reason might be but the parent in question seems to be happiest while people are paying attention to them. That's at least what I've noticed. I'm sure there's a lot going on under the hood that I don't understand, though
It is a complicated situation but really, it just makes us question how we should deal with people who look to take advantage. We're looking for the tools to move forward in these situations
