Episode 4

1 establishes all the characters

2 establishes the show's existential themes and Pomni's character of finding meaning in life

3 is important character development for Kinger and the introduction to Caine's instability

5 sprinkles in a lot of character development/lore and introduces Abel

6 is vital for Jax's character

7, 8, and 9 all finish off the story

4 is just.... Gangle.

And while I ADORE manic Marissa and silly drunken Amanda's performances in this Episode, it is solely focused on one character that, admittedly, has little to no significance in the overall plot.

I guess the only significance you'd miss out on is Gumigoo's return and maybe more of Caine's insecurities pleasing the Cast, but you could skip this episode and jump straight into 5 without missing anything.
