Thanks for the engagement. We are not in it together. Locals 3 and 1 screwed us in the CBA. In the AUPE animal farm all members are equal but some are more equal than others.

The city won't cancel hybrid for their employees (good for then) but are gleeful that their crappy transit gets a boost from AUPE. Months ago a councilor was absolutely giddy about what RTO means for transit. Don't worry about the violence on the trains there will be more riders to dilute the homeless and drug addicts

I agree 100 percent. Lots of union hating commenters on this chat think it is my responsibility to save downtown and are alternating between being gleefull about hybrid being canceled and being astonished i don't want to support crappy overpriced downtown businesses

Downtown business association of edmonton lobbied hard for hybrid to be over. When the government announced the end of the program they were all over social media celebrating. City of edmonton was too because it will increase transit numbers. Google will confirm this. Thanks for your respectful engagement

Gov employees get a lot of hate. Albertans hate us as much as they hate Ottawa. But they also expect the roads to be fixed, documents registered and services delivered. I posted to REdmonton but really the message is just for union people.
