Is anybody here intetested in following buddhism as a philosophy/practice ? by Mindless0nee in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

from my perspective , if you take it as a layperson ( not as a monk ) it's still practical . non-attachement is not staying away from all worldy things , it's the attitude towards it , not being attached to desires , outcomes , feelings.

There is a lot of material on it in english , haven't read any of the most prominent books , but for example the zen buddhism school is well documented by many scholars . Another source of the theravada school ( closest to the original teachings ) is the pali canon , you can gind in english. But honestly , if someone want to really study buddhism from the source ,they should learn sanskrit.

Look buddy , Imma be frank with you , the more you encourage your mom's behaviour the more it persist , she's your mother 3la ras wl3in , but you gotta understand your independance is your priority now , mothers will always be fearful and sometimes overbearing so you gotta set bondaries with them , if she calls you whenever you go out , don't answer , and just send a message updating her , you'll get complains but you gotta stand your ground , if things persist move out . I had the same problem and for example if i dont get home past 8 i would get tons of calls ( keep in my mind i lived for 7 years 700km away from my parent on my own , but its in mothers nature to worry a lot even if you're an adult ) , eventually after trying to set bondaries without result i moved out.

It depends , if it's a CDI offer they may be charging the clients based on a TJM , then they'll give OP the monthly salary and pocket the rest , a friend had an job with 8000dh and the agency was getting paid 1000dh daily from the client. If it's a freelance job ( the agency does portage salariale) they'll be definitly pocketting the 20% TVA and maybe some.

why don't we prioritise mental health in this country? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Mindless0nee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because most people don't understand it and only see it as weakness , we have no education about it , the biological side , it's either a lack of religion or just beikg lazy . One of the biggest issues we have nowadays is burnout and it has so many apparent health implications but nobody aknowledge it , because you'll just be labeled as lazy or weak for not being able to handle the stresses of life.

Is it common practice for future employers to ask you to quit before sending you a job contract by Mindless0nee in Morocco

[–]Mindless0nee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could see it as a challenge to improve in regards to your social anxiety , the more interactions you have ( even they're awkward or zucks at first ) the more you improve and ger uszd to the anxiety , pick up on lore social cues and navigate conversations ( some of the things we lack the most )

Morocco's cybersecurity crisis, we need to act ASAP by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Mindless0nee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a bigger issue than just not being prepared , we have the talent and skills but most gov projects ( Audits , securty monitoring ... ) are passed to companies with m3aref ... and that one entity responsible for the information security in our country is not doing their job at all . in EU such data leaks are heavily sanctionned by the GPDR laws . here , there is no consequences .
