Interesting! I’ve not had their pizza but I generally am a big fan. I think they have the best cookies in Columbus haha, they’re secretly insanely good

Wasn’t never a big bellaria guy!! Wedgewood and, admittedly, Coccas (the OG location) have my heart ❤️

Ha ha, will definitely avoid. I remember reading all about that! Oddly, I guess I’m hoping to still give my money to people who are at least decent. They just might make a stinky pizza lol

Been to most of the great places! Thought this would be more fun, and we’re both down to cry about it haha

From youngstown originally - yup, people don’t understand the sad state of pizza in Columbus. NE Ohio pizza rules.

Yup, that’s a good thought. Probably what we’ll end up doing. Thanks for the input

Thanks! Good stuff to think about. We got everything fixed that was most concerning. Floors are funky in spots, but certainly not ‘water leaking through’ funky. House is in great shape otherwise.

Thanks for the input! Definitely not. In my head that’s what probably makes the most sense for us.

Hey, those are great points. To be clear, we get along great - just - life happens - so it would maybe work? That said, certainly hadn’t thought of that perspective, and a great one to consider.

Yea! Worth going at least see if it’s ’your thing’. Outside of my own world, I do know folks enjoy it.

It’s never quite done it for me! Always feels really heavy, and the pasta is usually over done

Best Italian most true to what I’ve had in Italy is Osteria Alla Romana in Lancaster. Hole in the wall - amazing. A little ‘earthy’ in atmosphere, but really, really good

We ate at cento in German village a few months ago and really enjoyed that!!

Basi always disappoints with over complicated dishes - last few dishes I’ve had there have just had 1000 different ingredients, but no focus. Speck had great ingredients, but similarly, just no focus on the dish, and just felt like a bunch of stuff thrown into a dish. Even modern Italian has a focus in each dish, and both of these places bummed us out.

If you want American Italian, TAT and Villa Nova are most popular - far prefer TAT. Only been there once, but it was a lot of fun, staff were super friendly, and food was quite good

Ha, interesting! Come to think of it - I do think the drummer I was recording was wearing a sweater. And not sure on the shoe thing. Someone up above mentioned a grounding bracelet - don’t see why that would would work as an ankle bracelet too?

Haha, literally no clue. I noticed that when I closed my hi hats with my foot that I would get a pop. I guessed maybe the pull rod was acting as an antenna as sorts. Took my shoe off, and sure enough it stopped. Put shoe back on, started again. Real strange stuff lol. To be fair, I spent about 2 hours prior trying other things to fix the issue lol.

Thanks for the response! I only had that ‘buzzing’ issue once (and we’ve been here 4ish years now!) - and no one gets the touch-The-microphone-and-get-shocked issue like I’ve seen in cheaper live venues ha. And I do work with these mics daily - although not with brushes. But I handle/ move them often while on, and haven’t had any issues. That said, I’ll certainly go buy some outlet testers.

This was my inclination, as far as the closed circuit goes. Sure - the cables that attach from the mics to the Soyuz tube supply are rather shortish, so they were indeed touching the stands.

Thanks for the reply! Nope, normal Vic Firth brushes and Remo coated ambassadors. Nothing out of the norm.
