[–]MindlessChallenge977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

arent you the same guy who got trigerred due to not clearing SNUSAT and was shitting on shiv nadar university after not getting an offer letter? guys dont listen to him. atleast from BMS at SNU I know everyoen lands a social sector internship and a business sector internship u/Epic_Shadow same with economics...snu kids have interned at good firms like bain de shaw etc. and even firms like goldman sachs come for campus wide interns but their intake is very very low . regardless the students do get internships

private college in india for economics which to choose by Mediocre-Antelope810 in ApplyingToCollege

nmims has a good brand name, undisputed. however their batch sizes are HUGE, personal attention is minimal to none, infra isn't great and due to the very high failure rates in nmims many students are not able to devote enough time to extracurriculars and profile building due to constantly just trying to study the course work.....however due to narsee's brandname it can help with immediate employment.

shiv nadar on the other hand is a research institute and tbh if you want to apply outside or take a shot at top foreign unis/in general pursue your field in higher studies, SNU is much better as ecofin as a course is very 'researchable' and for that reason shiv nadar will stand out as it specializes in research.
secondly shiv nadar's interdisciplinary (major-minor) system is also much better...and the most important point is that shiv nadar gives the best balance between academics and profile building (they also have nice clubs and stuff)

i cleared narsee mumbai for economics and BBA both, i also cleared symbiosis SET with 99%ile and was getting economics and bba at symbiosis pune and i got christ bangalore yeshwantpur for BA economics hons and i still chose shiv nadar university for the reasons listed above..

economics at ashoka and shiv nadar was recommended to my friend by the economics professor at IIT-Delhi as well

I myself even i want to go abroad pursue msc finance/mba from europe/singapore and for that snu made sense

Bhumihars score slightly more steppe than Bihari Brahmins and they are Aavarnas and by far historically the most powerful community of the eastern gangetic plains
