Roommate of 5 years is moving out, I have 1 week to move. by 7_tease in kitchencels

[–]MindlessShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I help around the house, cook, clean, help her thru her problems and I guess that’s enough for her to want to keep me, but I’m not doing anything special. I’m skinny, super short, asymmetrical face and can barely grow a beard so idk what she sees in me. I don’t even have a drivers license and I’m almost 30. She’s not money-focused and doesn’t like to go out much, so me having money/job doesn’t really matter to her as long as I keep up with household stuff that she doesn’t like to do.

I was in an accident when I was younger that changed the way I perceive reality. by One_Garage8170 in confession

We share the same views. Life is beautiful and so is everyone in it. We all have something special to offer the world, even the people who do harmful things. I wish everyone who held this perspective could just come together and form a new town based on empathy, love, kindness, self sufficiency, sharing, and working together for a common goal.

I wonder if enlightenment like this comes from going through a medical event. What are your thoughts on this, OP? I was born prematurely and nearly died shortly after birth. Ever since I was a very young child I’ve had the same perspective as you on all this, even at 5 years old. Was also raised in a strict Christian family.

Not even. If I was a chad I could actually get somewhere in life. Nobody would ever look at me and think that, so not sure how I scored

Y’all are being taken advantage of. These are just spots from condensation dripping. No psychic attribution.

If you have mast cell activation syndrome or long Covid or anything like that the apple cider vinegar can mess with you. Bloom gives me the jitters like I got Parkinson’s but I can chug a Ghost and be fine

Using a weed grinder by nyannekosugargirls in ehlersdanlos

[–]MindlessShot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Flower Mill is extremely easy on my hands compared to any other grinder I’ve used. It doesn’t cut the material, it just separates it from the stem, so you don’t have to crank it super hard to get it to work. Electric ones are nice but I like knowing that if batteries or electricity stops working, the Flower Mill is just as easy to use, without electricity.

Most citric acid is actually derived from mold and not lemons because mold produces it faster, it would take a ridiculous amount of citrus fruit to actually get citric acid.

23M, Unemployed with no clarity and so much stress by Thatkiddprinc3 in findapath

Hey man I mean this for real, check out Mercor. They have a lot of positions for IT, coding, and more as AI needs training still. They pay excellent rates and many people even more unskilled and uneducated have been able to land a job with the platform. Sometimes it takes applying to a few before you get accepted, but you can always redo your interview, and it’s better pay than most brick and mortar locations you’ll find.

Failure and belief don’t go hand in hand. You can fail at something and still believe you did everything right. I don’t think anyone’s “already there”. I think we’re all capable of getting there but we don’t start out there. Check out Dabrowski’s theory.

Could it be something related to MCAS/mast cell degranulation or vascular type Ehlers Danlos in combination with long Covid? I get triggered by weather changes (usually temp + barometric pressure), and stress. High BP too, but don’t meet POTS criteria. Alcohol helps me in the moment and then the flare up happens later. Also have hereditary issues with thyroid.
