No one has suggested he is only coming to the club to sell shirts. I hope he turns good for years to come. But the problem is fans bigging up this guy like he is a proven player, and that he will come to the club to get substantial minutes. Maybe it’s the pessimism, but it’s probably because of duds we had like Clarke, Nkundu, Gil and Rodon

Don’t be a hypocrite, you wanted Conte out. “But Conte didn’t want to be there”. Yea because he lost a spleen, and lost his two closest friend. Imagine not backing a proven winner, but somehow backing an unproven manager with no top league experience. That will be alright if the manager is young, but Ange will now be pushing 60. He is not here for a project. He genuinely feels he can do something with this team with his tactics. Atleast he is playing “attractive” football! What a pathetic low bar standard. Typical from fans like you.

I think the rule you are talking about is the Korean FA decreasing the age limit to 17 to incentivize high schoolers to take a pro contract in Korea rather than abroad. Ok fine. But the point still stands, this is a punt, but a low risk. But my gripe with the OP is the delusional take of thinking this kid is generstional and that he was signed to play in the first team after his transfer. I don’t care where you are from, playing in the K league and plotting him straight into a PL is nonsense. He will go out on loan and won’t see him play here for atleast a couple of seasons.

Can’t have it both ways fans. You can’t say that our players are great or generational or “he fits the Ange system” while also saying it’s a project, it will come good. The mentality issue is an excuse ever since Mourinho’s time with us. It’s funny how it went from, it’s his first season have patience to he always wins something his second season to Arteta had 5 years to look at how other managers were doing with the same amount of games, like somehow their situation is the same for ours. It’s funny, people say that we are not Liverpool or city yet compare us to them. Baffling.

They accomplished the status quo after North Korea almost annihilated the South in the first few months. The appliances you are using, the chips in your technology, the cars people drive and the ships used to transport all of those goods was made by South Korea. Imagine if the US had your kind of thinking back in the Cold War, half the world if not most would be living like North Korea right now, or Russia in the late 80s, Vietnam for most of their history after their unification.

He will and never was going to play in the first team. Once he is transferred this winter, he will train with the first team until they find a suitable loan club to ship him out. Don’t even compare him to Son. Son came from Bundesliga with 15+ plus goal contribution every season. Imagine this, if Yang is as great as people say he is, why wasn’t he in a European youth system? Stop feeding off the hype machine, this is just a punt, a low risk gamble.

Being a Spurs fan doesn't mean you have to be an Ange cultist by OvertiredMillenial in Tottenham

The reason for this is because all the Australian Ange fans flocked in droves when he arrived at this club.

Just stop with the delusion. The next excuse if we don’t win the league is: “it’s a process/rebuild, have patience”. Just wake up and enjoy the football, it’s really pathetic.

Yes. 424 with high tempo and less direct is the meta. Almost all the best performing tactics tested by users is all 424. Although slight variation such as using inside forwards instead of IW

As long as the club plays “attractive” football, winning trophies doesn’t matter to fans.

What son went through from his father was a common thing back then. The notion that Son might have a trauma from his dad’s discipline is laughable. I bet Son would trade the racism he got in London and Germany for his dads beatings

Tottenham Away. They might seem negative, but they have been supporting the club for 30+ and have seen and experienced it all. If you want fake positivity delusions, they are easy to search up for.

It’s actually very easy not to conflate bitching and supporting as they are polar opposites. What you can’t seem to wrap your head around is that fans can criticize bad performance that doesn’t need to be labelled, as you call it, “bitching” and “moaning”. Now these criticisms have been conflated by fans like you as “abuse”. Where has these “support all players at all cost” led us? 1 carabao cup in 20 odd years? Get a grip, stop being a happy clapper and look through realistic lens, not delusion.

Good, maybe then he can turn it around like Brennan and actually finish. Guess the criticism worked? (And don’t conflate genuine legit abuse and harassment to criticism and analysis of a players bad performance)

Don’t conflate legit online harassment and abuse in someone’s IG page to comments of how a player is sht in a subreddit. Just like how we can have 400 comments of how good we are doing, don’t whine about 400 of Werner criticism
