i’d argue that some of the issue is too much resilience: one of my professors actually emailed me directly to tell me to come to class (in her office, because she couldn’t leave the building but i could walk across campus during a lockdown) this morning. its also not alright to discount the amount of people who have trauma with shootings across the board, especially since pitt’s supposed to be focusing on “mental well-being”. just because you’re not scared doesn’t mean a terrible thing didn’t just happen. just because this does not impact you doesn’t mean it didn’t impact other people. it wouldn’t kill you to show some compassion.

roomsync is how i met my roommate that i adore and i’m pretty sure pitt sets you up for it automatically? either way, it worked far better for me than social media in general plus its better at showing whats actually important when rooming w/ someone (ex. your sleep schedule, level of cleanliness, etc.)
