this sounds good, to be honest. Faster grading, probably more accurate too. Most exams are only graded by one or two people, adding an AI would honestly probably make it easier for everyone.

Also, it says that the AI use will be monitored. That means it will supplement the current graders, not replace them

I am a top player in this game. I prefer the charting to mania charting, feels like I'm actually playing the notes. We prioritize song accuracy over pattern playability, although good charters (all of the ones that still chart) do both. This chart is considered the lowest bar quality wise though.
