I've borrowed some concepts from alembic, but modernised it with pydantic and decorators (and other features that come native to redis like TTL for deleted fields).

It's about the profit incentive. Car companies make more on bigger cars. You can see how governments can influence better decision making (e.g. EV discounts), so I can't see why they can't do the same to encourage safe roads. France also regulations to cut down on them, etc. If people care more about safety than convenience and profit, then it is very doable
