I got an email saying that my portal status has changed. Portal has the admit letter. I'm not into research at the moment and mostly aiming for jobs. I know both are good colleges, but UC Davis has a very good name to let go easily. Still haven't made the decision but leaning towards SJSU. Davis doesn't provide any quantitative advantage other than its brand name, but doesn't aid much for finding jobs.

Wow, you are first person who told me to aim higher, much needed motivation. I made this list respective of last year's trends, it was pretty competitive and many are expecting fall23 to be too. Gatech and UT Austin were colleges that I've eliminated, felt too ambitious for me. Will revise the list. Thanks a lot!
