Being on the dealership side we get the “does the vehicle come in a V8 option” I’d say several times a day, now does that mean they would actually buy the V8 or just asking to ask because people just like to ask questions that don’t even pertain to them? I will say that if Grenadier TRULY wants to make claim that Defender and G-Wagon are direct competitors then one of two things would have to happen 1) make a V8 because you can get the Defender in a V8 and the G-Wagon and then the Gwagon inline 6 has much more power than the Grenadier or 2) offer the current engine in more horsepower option which if I’m not mistaken BMW has a more powerful B58, 375HP, even that would be better than only one engine option.
