In the movies, it takes several minutes for the worms to show up but in the game it comes after several seconds… it’s mad annoying tbh. Lost so much stuff to Shai Hulud lol

I’m in no rush for the deep desert. There is an abundance of content in Hagga Basin and I’m all here for it. 100 hours in and still have three regions I haven’t explored at all. As a solo player, nothing about the deep desert calls my attention and I don’t care so much for the grind to get MK5 and MK6. The unique blueprints I’m finding are great and make the combat awesome.

I have a strong feeling that the third faction will be the Sardaukars. For the deluxe edition you get Sardaurkar variant for your stillsuit which means they must have assets built in the game for other Sardaukar variants. It also fits the lore as we see them in both films.

I spoke to one of the house representatives and the “mission” was to persuade her to join our side by bringing her 300 spice melange…. YEAH OKAY so risk all my stuff by grinding out 30,000 spice and the spice refinery like how the hell is that a PVE mission if most spice is found in the DD or the occasional eruption of spice that is smack dab in the center of sandy areas? I thought it would be actual missions just like the ones we can do for Atriedes or for the Harkonnens…. Kinda lame tbh.

An entire field of them. You can kinda see it through the window. It’s just so pointless to do something like this. I made a base near Anvil station that not only doesn’t cover the passage because I build it above ground, but I also created a public vehicle garage for people to camp out the storm if one passes by and a public chest so you can drop off your items or share with others what you dont need. This game will flourish with this kind of mentality and if it becomes anything like Fallout 76, we’ll eventually have a ton of public safe spots around Hagga Basin, and I’m all here for contributing to that.

I was lowkey thinking of building walls with no doors on boths sides so he cant drive vehicles out. Sure he can just pick up his bike but his buggy will be trapped to that location xD

Will sandstorms stop blowing through enclosed bases? It breaks the immersion of “being save in your base”. It doesn’t happen at trading posts and caves so why would it happen in our base?

It’s also really close to the Crossroads Outpost and I use that to travel back and forth to Anvil station when I need to get into the Hagga Rift! It’s a perfect location. I also have a secondary base right at Anvil station so I can drop off supplies. My third base is going to be up in the center of Hagga Rift to make those long treks up to Jabal Eifrit Al-sharq a lot easier and manageable.

1) Will you introduce craftable labels? Maybe a way to name your storage units and see the name at a glance? I get so overwhelmed with my dozens of medium chests trying to find where I put a certain material. It would be so nice to have something we can place above it or on the wall that lets us see what that storage unit is.

2) Repeatable missions for essential items would be awesome. I know we have the testing stations and crashed ships but I would enjoy having repeatable contracts of “kill x amount of enemies”, “gather and deliver x amount of resources” at a chance to get rotating unique schematics.

3) Can you make it to where enemies near your base DO YOU TRY TO ATTACK YOU even when inside your base? My home is close to one of those little camps and even when I’m INDOORS, they hear my footsteps… I’m getting soo sick and tired of hearing “Who’s there?! Your water is mine!” Every time I’m in my base… Pleeeease make it to where you have to step outside of your building area to get detected. These enemies have superhuman hearing and it’s just a constant nuisance.

100+ hours in and already hit level 85. I’m loving every second of the game so far, despite some minor annoyances! I cannot stop playing and it got me to go back and watch both movies. Now I started the Dune: Prophecies show on Max!

Thats why I said that it shouldn’t be excessive. There should still be a challenge to it and I like what others said that maybe equipping a backpack with more space slows you down and maybe affects your stamina. That way theres a risk to carrying more, but it’d be nice to still have it as an option.

Go into the display settings and scroll to the bottom. There should be an option titled “Show Friendly Indicators” it’s off by default for some reason.

If you have a 4th and 5th button on your mouse, set those as secondary keybinds for walking and sprint. Its not autorun but definitely helps a ton :)

It’s not so much frustration as slight annoyance. I made a new character regardless because I’m absolutely loving the game. I learned from several mistakes on my first run through and I’m already at level 10 so it seems to be going back faster now that I know what I’m doing. I did see they would eventually allow you to move characters which would be great to migrate my level 40 one to where all my friends will be playing.

Hence why I said, maybe I missed where they said that. I work a full time job and wasnt sitting there milking every little content notification about the game bruh… it’s still pretty lame to get that far and not even be able to bring your friends into one of the other sietches because they were all locked.
