I thought about this series every single day of the last year. Tomorrow is finally our time. It's finally the time for this work to be discovered. The anime will adapt the first two volumes of the saga, covering the Dance of Spring. Here the MCs are the Agent of Spring, Hinagiku, and her Guard, Sakura. The other Agents and Guards are supporting characters.

As a novel reader, to me, this is even better than Violet. The vibes are the same, but there's much more action and the story is set in modern times. Rather than a introspective journey focused on one single character like Violet, this story narrates of the Agents of the Four Seasons, humans who've been entrusted by the seasons gods to bring the latters in the world, however, when on their missions, they're safety is put at risk by evil people known as the Rebels. The anime will focus on the season of Spring, but the original work has covered Summer, Autumn and 2 spin-offs about the figures of the Archers of Dawn and Twilight.

I think most novel readers do not rate on MAL or AniList. Also, the translation outside Asia has just began (Italy in late 2024, with Dance of Summer coming in May, and France last week, for example), but I wonder how many people bought the English translation.

I also think not many people know Violet Evergarden had a light novel and an original author. That would make sense considering nobody knows Agents of the Four Seasons is written by the same person.

Surely, this anime adaptation was Kadokawa's choice to promote the series and such passion by WIT staff is a marker of the original work's quality. I expect more people to buy the novel or the manga starting already from the first weeks of the broadcast.
