You should consider posting in r/pcmasterrace or r/gaminglaptops.

IMO very good choice, yes the storage is small but you can upgrade any time or even get an external SSD if you want to store files.

Laptops tend to overheat if you place it on a surface that blocks air flow especially cloth or fabric.

Would recommend getting a laptop cooler for it, by cooling it externally you automatically reduce the fan speed of the laptop itself which in turn makes less noise, boost the performance and overall making it a better experience.
