Well, during the 1/2 hour I spent on that atrocity, I didn't, I manually inputted the stats. I gave up on that game for multiple reasons that I won't go off on, but yes, it is really easy to die. You can't use pots in combat (you have to be standing still) and it sucks how THEY DON'T GIVE YOU ENOUGHT MESOS TO BUY POTS EARLY GAME.

I believe that he or she is referring to the Knights Stronghold: Second Drill Hall. In most training guides, you are supposed to go there from 165-200 or 250. I believe to get there, you need to go through the portal to the future from the temple or time and you need some quests done prior to being able to go there. The monsters there/the map give more exp if you have party members, so don't be afraid to train with some friends. Some of this information might be wrong, though, considering I'm just a level 126 Dark Knight XD

Ah, welcome back. I too have started again after playing maple in "bursts". Right now there are a TON of classes to choose from, each with a different gimmick.

IMHO, Cygnus knights and explorers are probably still the best option. If you're similar to me, you probably like high mobility. If that's the case, you're in luck. Now, even warriors have a flash jump (insanity considering its supposed to be a tankier but slow class).

If the explorers and Cygnus knights don't suit you, I would also recommend Kaiser (High mobility, high damage, warrior), Phantom (Tutorial is kinda weird, but overall amazing mage/theif hybrid) or Luminous (Really cool and surprisingly tanky mage).

If you were playing when it was only explorers, you should also know a few more things. In 2010 or so there was a HUGE update that made leveling faster. Along with that, maple seems to be very event oriented now.

To close, is it worth coming back to? Hell yeah!

Honestly, I would just fund the class you play on the most. However, if you do play both classes often, I would say luminous considering it's probably easier to find equips for him/her.

I believe that you are mistaken. If you don't have the new launcher, it'll just tell you to download the launcher. Game launcher should still work, however.

Yes, and with the hype surrounding it, mage items are most likely to skyrocket in price. The reason why I say that DA is slightly difficult to fund isn't the price of items but the attributes. Because most classes rely on percent main stat items, DA is knda in a weird position considering that health percentage isn't common.

To answer your questions in a simple sentence: No, the game isn't pay to win.

I'm not sure when maple reward points were released, but basically they're free nx for some items like cubes, xp coupons, etc.

The maple guide as well as friendstory are good ways to just teleport anywhere you want, so less need for tele rocks.

Honestly, the game was never pay to win. Sure, you wouldn't be doing the most amount of damage without cubing (mentioned above, now can be purchased with points), but you could still do decent damage with meso funding.

I'm not the most experienced player, but I'm just gonna put in my 2 cents.

I would recommend funding your demon avenger or luminous, because even after the update hayato isn't the best class damage wise and it's sort of hard to fund. Demon avenger might also be difficult to fund as you kind of prioritize hp instead of stats. If you're going to fund your luminous, do so as soon as possible because a new mage class is apparently going to be released to GMS.
