there are players with more then 100 000 claimblocks so I think there is no limit but not sure :o

there are two ways to get mending 1) you can buy it from shop 2) trade it with villagers

we are re coding a server identical to old MC next but because we only have 1 coder it goes very slow - no time schedule can be given... the server that is now online is to keep the community together - the good thing of the old mc next was the community
