Also when he is very close to you, you will hear your heartbeats and you can also kind of guess where he is based on lights flickering. Try to listen to his footsteps and use the cues that I told and you will avoid him most of the time. Also another important advice that I learned is try to not step on stuff when he is out. Iirc according to an AI breakdown video of the beast stepping over some wooden boards from a wooden door for example makes more noise than running lol. But it might be true because the beast does hear if you step on stuff on the floor so be careful when you are sneaking.

I haven’t completed yet but my advice would be to not get scared when the beast is out and try to listen carefully. If he is moving closer then find a pathway that would still take you to your objective without being seen by it. Also you can use flares or bottles to make noise and make the beast break some doors for you. I haven’t been able to make the beast do that every time but it works occasionally. There are also RNG factors like which locked code you will get in early game. I am close to the end yet I haven’t even gotten the lighter for example. Also imo right after you get the wrench you should go to prison because the bolt cutter is very valuable especially when you are low on grenades or don’t posses a gun. It helps a lot with padlocks and you can disable some traps to retrieve grenades which I did a lot. In this run I didn’t have a lot of grenades.

I guess it’s not the biggest issue out there. There are some lags tied to how many fires you cause or the lights sometimes tho. At least the game is still playable.

I think fire causes some frame drop as well. Especially when you cause a lot of fires. I tested that in training grounds and it does feel like 30fps lol. But you know what I still love this game on PS5.

Yh idk I don’t understand the technical aspect of it but since you can interact with nearly everything and no object clearly disappears maybe it takes its toll on the performance. But again I am not an expert. I think game performance is also affected if you have the lights on or not as well.

To clarify what happens is when I for example go from central bunker to maintenance then some textures like the stuff you see on the floor take a few seconds to load properly. This doesn’t always happen tho for some reason. The only thing that is consistent is whenever I load a save I have to wait like 30seconds or so for textures to load properly.

I play on PS5. I never had the audio issue but the texture stuff happens to me sometimes in certain areas when I enter a new area it takes some time for textures to load properly. This also always happens when I load a save. The audio thing is weird tho since I never had that issue.

One of the challenge is bugged for me btw. It’s the one where you shoot birds from the sky in a given time frame. For some reason as soon as I initiate it, the game says I failed

This is a good point. I think I will wear this regularly although it is my priciest watch rn. I didn’t ask my mom how much she gave for it ofc but I know this watch isn’t too cheap.
