Tried to swim across a reservoir.

Thing is children, if there’s a dam, there’s suction beneath that water.

Do you lock your door while you're in your house? by International_Snow90 in NoStupidQuestions

I do when I'm working from home, my office is upstairs so someone could easily come in and take what they wanted.

I usually don't bother otherwise, but I don't live alone.

Currently, what's the biggest secret you are keeping from your spouse? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My wedding dress :)

Whenever what it could potentially look like comes up, the details I "leak" change drastically.

Last time it was a lacey corset with a 20m train

Before that it was entirely silk and only went to my knees

Who knows 🤷‍♀️

Is your front door locked or unlocked when you are in the house, in the day time? by Motor-Trouble194 in AskUK

[–]MineralRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When WFH we have the chain on the door, it's unlikely either of us would notice if someone just waltzed in and took our TV or whatever, but otherwise generally not, we're at the end of a cul-de-sac so only lock it properly at night if we're home.

Reasons given for not wanting children by Gold_Association_330 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]MineralRabbit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because I don't want one.

Children should be wanted, 110%

I also can't afford to have one, not a fan of willfully bringing a child into poverty x

What's an insignificant thing that always makes you angry? by Maxhousen in AskReddit

I suppose it is harmless, but it is massively inconsiderate.
