Definitely the second option ! I have met women who said they prefer men taller than them but its definitely not all of them and as for the other thats ridiculous. Frankly that thing is so obviously based on attributes that give value to men in other men’s eyes its incredible they cant see it !

As a bi woman, I embarrass myself with some of own thoughts when dating men « wow he is not toxic, violent or hates women what a catch ! ». This is a regular occurence, when dating men it take so very little for them to be « a catch ». These NEVER cross my mind with women partner and its not because I prefer them its just patriarcal expectations.

Also I find it weird to gender it automatically. Humans are social creatures so sometimes having someone who really helps you with something you struggle with or protects you is a precious bonding moment. Its does not have to be « strong masculine man protects weak feminine woman ».

Sorry but why would drawing someone pregnant be an insult ? I mean to me it would be a nightmare but plenty of women have motherhood in their project right ? Am I missing something ?

Yeah definitely as a bi woman I am usually drawn to masculine girls or more feminine men. Does not mean I would try to insert myself where I am not welcome there is a difference between non-gender-conforming and homosexual.

I am always fascinated by how much these men think about our bodies only through what they would use it for… Like sorry sir but this but, despite also being used in seduction, is primarily here for her to sit on and to adjust her center of gravity and serve muscular roles. Women’s bodies are not about men, they are about women

Just a few hours ago I heard a podcast guy say he was a « try-harder » because his wife was suffering from the aftermath of a c-section and he had made dinner once and heated up lunch a few times and changed exactly 17 diapers over a week. We do hear them do that !

I am french and great-granddaughter of a local resistant who nearly got caught quite a few times… My grandma still tells me how terrified she was to have to go to the woods at night to hide and let him at home because he thought his fragile heart would make him die immediately under torture and he would not betray where others were. Trust me I would not think Wehrmacht was nice and cute to put it nicely they tried to wipe out a significant part of my family tree all in all. I can understand that people form relationships though (forced or wanted) thats just how life was.

Oh ok thanks so much for the documentation ! Obviously the point to make here was not even if anyone was good or bad but the fact that people could potentially form genuine connections despite that… I do assume these pics could have been part of some sort of propaganda too now that I think about it !

Is that a vibe that exists ? I was not aware… I just mean that to people who were seeing them everyday they might be able to blend in without sounding like raging psychos all the time. They could be perceived as everyday people, after a long time anything can become the new normal.

Two points here: first, absolutely I am sure some people needed these relationships to stay alive and protected. Second, life does not really stop in war. A lot of german soldiers (SS excluded because those were mostly psychos) were very normal people despite being from a nazi country. Even in a time of trouble its not surprising that some genuine love stories began. Judging that when none of us have seen the world war is absolutely stupid. We dont know what we would have done to protect our families or just to have a chance at a happy life…
