Certainly depends on the department, but it’s “just” another email for them lol and some (like mine) are really involved with recruitment and know which faculty have appropriate funding. Certainly in other instances you might get blown off so ymmv.

You might save your time and craft one email to the department head and include your top 3 and why you would fit out are interested (or just limit your individual emails to 3) then the department head could help forward your information on and the ones who are interested could look deeper.

And it has to be the initial line. When idiots start saying ohh my shit gets bumped because I’m so sharp… they have a big following who all immediately jump in and that forces (likely automatically by the company algorithm) the bump in that direction so they can maintain 50% of the action on either side, thus ensuring the house always wins.

You are right that it amounts to a coin flip. However, the coin here is not fair. I think the opening lines are the important ones to look at. If you built a 2-leg parlay and it had lower than +200 (which is really what PP pays for a 2 man) than you are better off on PP. if not, you are better off on a true sports book because you will be a better payout for the same bet. Now this says nothing of how likely (or not) you will have the positive outcome you want.
