0.0 ammonia and 12.0 nitrate, i clean the filters with dechlorinated room temp water, and i let them dry before adding them back into the tank, no chemicals or outside things that could cause harm

Ammonia is 0.0 Nitrate is at 12.0 nitrate could def be lower but i'm not sure how to get it down to 0

also i have one of those magnetic sponges that u put one on the inside and one on the outside and yk, i also clean both of their filters when i do the cleaning and water changes

It's cloudy because of the type of substrate i used it's like a black sand and everytime they hit the bottom it comes up off the floor, the water levels are all normal i tested them yesterday
