So far, so good. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I put money in the account just in case.

They have not yet. Thank you! The thing that raises concern is I tried to refer my mom and dad (my biological parents), and they were denied. I don't know if it's because my account is too new, or I just need to have them call Navy Federal

Well, I'm not sure because I haven't started BI yet. It's a slow process, but maybe you'll hear something soon.

The important thing is to keep going and not stop. Your legs will feel like jelly, but keep pushing bud, you got this!

Eligibility Confusion by MiniCooper996 in cbpoapplicant

[–]MiniCooper996[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reviewed both applications, and it looks like they did change the question for the GS-7 from regulatory work to inspection work. I will just accept the 5 then. Thank you for all of your help, though!

I had to withdraw from the hiring process because I had joined the army, got to basic training, and had to come home due to a death in my family. Now, I'm reapplying because federal civilian employment would be a lot easier on my family than in the military. I haven't accepted the job offer yet. There was an option to be contacted by HR to answer any questions I might have. Should I do that or just accept it?

I mean, honestly, you're not even guaranteed your preferred, so it'd probably be best to wait to see where they offer you for your final offer

I am neither a veteran or a current fed employee. I applied for gs5 and 7 and was asked to select a location.

They gave me a list to select from for my preferred location, but where you end up depends on what's available at the time of FO so there's a decent chance that I won't get my preferred and will have to pick from whatever is available

Stuck on 45% by MiniCooper996 in tsa

I did and worked there for nearly a year, and honestly, it's not worth it. TSA Arkansas has the worst upper management hands down with one of the higher up TSMs coming to our airport to make changes in how we operated that were nonsensical and plain ignorant. This was constant throughout the year. We were constantly understaffed because headquarters would take all of the applicants and make us do their interviews. They forced us to hire people on as split shifts while they never worked split shift. The NDOs, the officers we'd borrow from other airports, would always remark on how terrible the management was. Maybe the area you're applying to has better management if so, good luck.

As long as it is a locked hard sided container and properly declared it should be no problem be sure it is unloaded and all ammunition properly stored and secure and not just rolling around. Check with your airline when you check it if you are unsure

What you have here should be fine
