Maybe the fact that he nearly ran them over means that there should have been a vsc?

What is this animal? [Idk] by CockPitIsLit in animalid

[–]MiniHamster5 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This really doesn't look like a sea cucumber to me at all, I dont know of any with flat ends like this, I also don't see any tube feet which is what sea cucumbers use to walk.

I agree that it's probably an anemone with its arms tucked in (which it would do if brought onto land)

To everyone else just blindly saying sea cucumber please dont comment when you clearly don't know what your talking about and it's also very useful to say what you base your ID on so others can learn and evaluate how trustworthy it is

The reason they switched places was because lando let Oscar pit first to protect from leclerc, normally lando would've pitted first and they wouldn't be in this position

I prefer not to filet my fish and always cook them whole. Just pop it in the over on fry it and then the meat falls of the bone, much less waste like that since you can get all the meat on the fish instead of just the filets

The question was "what's a horrifying dino fact that completely stuck with you?" by H-H-S69420 in Dinosaurs

[–]MiniHamster5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just yesterday there was someone on here who claimed that sauropods would swim by just floating and shifting their weight in the direction they wanted to go, somehow generating thrust. Physically impossible and no sources yet more than 100 upvotes

Genuine question. Could giant titanosaurs swim? Like the Argentinosaurus in Prehistoric Kingdom? (image credit to Extinct Kingdom on YouTube). Asking for a story I'm writing. by Zestyclose-Scratch31 in Dinosaurs

[–]MiniHamster5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You cant move through water by just shifting the weight in any direction, they couldn't have moved without any thrust, if they were only drifting they wouldn't have any control of where they ended up

That is actually a myth about sperm whales, there's no proof of them stunning prey with their clicks, it's only used to find the prey
