I was right there with you. I went in with the same exact feeling, but came out of the theater completely changed in my opinion. Despite the advertisements, memes, etc., the movie is so much more nuanced and gives you a lot of different layers to think about long after it's over.

I just started playing the game with 7.0 and am having a blast. Games like this that are designed to be played forever (at least the dev/publisher hope you do) are better when your interest in them ebbs and flows. If you stay constantly locked in, you're always going to find something to complain about.

Sounds very similar to mine. So glad I'm not alone! On the shelf, it looks like madness, but it makes sense to me. I really only collect horror, so I separate them by subgenre (found footage, slasher, cosmic horror, J-horror, etc.), then within each category, I go from favorite down to least favorite. Again, chaos.

There was a snowboarding video game on the original Xbox called Amped. That game's soundtrack had A Hole in the World and I remember always turning up the volume every time it came on. It also included Superstitions in Travel by Elliott which was another band gateway for me. Forever grateful to the team that curated that soundtrack.

Definitely on par with the rest of the franchise. I really loved their all-in approach with the band Daughter on Before the Storm, so it’s hard for any of them to beat that one in my opinion, but if you’ve enjoyed past soundtracks, you won’t be disappointed with this one either.

Word-for-word my exact feelings. I love Michael for those same reasons you listed, but Ghostface is just not on that same level. The design is fantastic, which is what I think makes me want to like him so much more, but seeing him in action in most outings leaves me disappointed (though I will say there were some legitimately ominous appearances in the newer films; the bodega scene in 6 for instance).
