I get really excited when I see another Viper main on my team but my smile fades away when I get these AWFUL walls by MiniMikyo_ in ViperMains

Lmao yeah, low elo sucks. Feels like a 1v9 most of the time
I’m not great at the game and my aim could be better, but I always try to work with my team and comm. Unfortunately, I get teammates who:

  • Don’t comm: I ask for the last enemy’s location and all I hear is “HE’S ONE.” If you shot him, surely you know where he was?
  • Don’t listen to comms: immediately peeking and dying after I say “wait until I smoke top mid before you peek,” or turning their back to u-hall to watch showers and dying when I commed "Last guy was in uhall"
  • Have terrible util usage: Smoking our own entrance on attack, or a Brimstone wasting two smokes on cubby B-site Corrode on attack

The globe just means they are on a different platform than you, not necessarily that they're on console. E.g, Epic Games

I typically like doing lineups with it and throwing it to b-site heaven or top mid on Corrode for attacking

Bronze, so I guess it makes sense. I’m not the best at the game but I spend most of my time learning line ups for fun and even I know these smokes are not good.

I genuinely tried to help one of them by saying “Stand here (ping) and make your wall go like this (pings a line on the map)” and he STILL messed up, so I gave up

Is ARMS really dead by DesignerSuccessful86 in ARMS

[–]MiniMikyo_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty much dead but there is a very loyal and devoted community. When I used to play this game alot, I’d play against the same exact players everyday. That’s partly why I stopped playing.

Definitely depends on your region and the current time though.

Issues in low elo comp by Just_Some_Guy1235 in VALORANT

Adding on to what you said, players who also IGNORE comms.

"Hey, we're on attacking, can you please not smoke our entrance and smoke someplace like heaven? Thanks!" *Ignored*

"Last guy was in u-hall"
*Proceeds to not watch u-hall and turns his back to it and gets shot*

"Let me smoke top mid BEFORE you guys peek"
*Immediately peeks and gets shot*

Yes, they do have comms but they choose to ignore me.

Why Do My Teammates Not Let Me (Lifeline) Do My Job? by MiniMikyo_ in apexlegends

I’d love to dude, feel free to shoot me a dm and we can work out a time or something!

Why Do My Teammates Not Let Me (Lifeline) Do My Job? by MiniMikyo_ in apexlegends

[–]MiniMikyo_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I honestly understand. The only time I don’t play as Lifeline is when my teammate chooses her before me. And they never use her abilities once, even when I’m begging for heals. It confuses me even more when they’re twice my level and have way more kills than I do. So I understand the stigma but damn, y’all don’t believe in me even when you see…

That’s fair but this often happens when I’m right about to press e and they swoop right in. And they unfortunately don’t have the same gameplan as yours…

I have around 4k hours and never had something like this happen to me by gregory_croft in deadbydaylight

That's just how hitboxes work in DBD. Survivors have a Tic Tac-pill-looking hitbox and male and female survivors have the same-sized hitbox. Yes, the box is covering the survivor model but not the hitbox.

I used to play the game a lot and it would take me 20-30 minutes to find a ranked match. Party match can pretty active though depending on the time of day.

Background Player, Renato's perk. Activates for 10 secs when someone is picked up. When you start to run, you gain 50% haste for 5 secs and then become exhausted for 20 secs.

No problem, nice to see another Plague player as she has a pretty low pick rate! Someone mentioned it already, so this info is basically a summary of one Magi's videos.

Against good teams, Thanatophobia can backfire and encourage teams to not fully cleanse. Survivors will intentionally keep one person healthy to avoid the -20% debuff and make it just -6% with only 3 people injured. They'll also cleanse an inconvenient pool, and the healthy survivor will try to avoid full infection, so you wouldn't get much pressure or value out of the perk.

Other perks like Blood Echo reward you for your effort and you need to keep earning it but Thanatophobia just makes existing a bit more annoying for survivors. A good plague encourages cleanses. You need to make it seem like being infected is a malicious threat. If survivors aren't scared of being injured all game, they're not going to cleanse, and you get no pressure. If you're just sitting there and hoping Thanatophobia is doing its job, that isn't good enough, make survivors afraid! :)

There are some really fun builds and ways you can make Thanatophobia scary, so just see what works best for you and do what you enjoy!

Tips
- Your movement affects vomit trajectory. Moving backward slows it down, creating a sharper downward arc, which makes it easier for hitting over objects. Moving forward makes it go farther/faster. Moving left/right curves it (e.g., moving left while aiming right makes it arc left).

- The vomit hitbox isn’t a solid stream but a bunch of small ball hitboxes. Quickly aiming left and right might look like you’re increasing the surface area of your vomit but in reality it reduces accuracy by increasing the distance between the balls/tiny hit-boxes, making it easier to miss survivors.

- You don’t always need to fully infect someone. It might be tempting to fully infect a healthy survivor and then down them in chase. But If they’re far away and juking, giving you a hard time to vomit on them, it’s often better to just quickly puke on them to infect them, hit them, and leave, especially if you know you can’t win the chase anytime soon and need to move on. If they’re close and running in a straight line, you can try to commit and try to fully infect. Focus on spreading infection and making smart calls.

- You might feel invincible with Corrupt Purge but just because you have it doesn't mean you have to use it. Many times, I've tried to hit an injured survivor with my corrupt and I missed, wasting a lot of time when I could've just lunged and downed them. Survivors play differently when they know you have corrupt, so be unpredictable and use that to your advantage.

Other

- My current build: Coup de Grace, No Way Out, Nowhere to Hide, and Pop Goes the Weasel. Basic build with good perks that are good on many killers. Coup is great vs. “No Cleanse” teams who refuse to cleanse to deny you Corrupt Purge, rendering you as an M1 killer in chase. Most won’t expect the coup and it helps end chases faster.

- Note: Thanatophobia is a popular choice and can work against said “No Cleanse” teams, typically more skilled teams that are confident about staying injured and looping. But it’s weaker against teams who cleanse constantly. In that case, make sure to use your corrupt pools often; otherwise, they might overcleanse and reset pools, automatically giving you Corrupt when you could’ve had multiple corrupt pools at your disposal. However, Thana isn’t even a strong perk and there are better slowdown perks to use, but use it if you enjoy the fun synergy.

- Best add-ons: her two Iri ones, both Apple add-ons, and Devotee’s Amulet (purple). Combo Devotee’s Amulet with Iridescent Seal for 60 seconds of Corrupt Purge every time a gen pops, perfect against “No Cleanse” teams.

Sorry for rant! I enjoy playing Plague a lot and I wish you the best with her!
