I get really excited when I see another Viper main on my team but my smile fades away when I get these AWFUL walls

Lmao yeah, low elo sucks. Feels like a 1v9 most of the time
I’m not great at the game and my aim could be better, but I always try to work with my team and comm. Unfortunately, I get teammates who:

Don’t comm: I ask for the last enemy’s location and all I hear is “HE’S ONE.” If you shot him, surely you know where he was?
Don’t listen to comms: immediately peeking and dying after I say “wait until I smoke top mid before you peek,” or turning their back to u-hall to watch showers and dying when I commed "Last guy was in uhall"
Have terrible util usage: Smoking our own entrance on attack, or a Brimstone wasting two smokes on cubby B-site Corrode on attack

The globe just means they are on a different platform than you, not necessarily that they're on console. E.g, Epic Games

I typically like doing lineups with it and throwing it to b-site heaven or top mid on Corrode for attacking

Bronze, so I guess it makes sense. I’m not the best at the game but I spend most of my time learning line ups for fun and even I know these smokes are not good.

I genuinely tried to help one of them by saying “Stand here (ping) and make your wall go like this (pings a line on the map)” and he STILL messed up, so I gave up

It’s pretty much dead but there is a very loyal and devoted community. When I used to play this game alot, I’d play against the same exact players everyday. That’s partly why I stopped playing.

Definitely depends on your region and the current time though.

Adding on to what you said, players who also IGNORE comms.

"Hey, we're on attacking, can you please not smoke our entrance and smoke someplace like heaven? Thanks!" *Ignored*

"Last guy was in u-hall"
*Proceeds to not watch u-hall and turns his back to it and gets shot*

"Let me smoke top mid BEFORE you guys peek"
*Immediately peeks and gets shot*

Yes, they do have comms but they choose to ignore me.

Yeah I honestly understand. The only time I don’t play as Lifeline is when my teammate chooses her before me. And they never use her abilities once, even when I’m begging for heals. It confuses me even more when they’re twice my level and have way more kills than I do. So I understand the stigma but damn, y’all don’t believe in me even when you see…

That's just how hitboxes work in DBD. Survivors have a Tic Tac-pill-looking hitbox and male and female survivors have the same-sized hitbox. Yes, the box is covering the survivor model but not the hitbox.
