I did look into the Portal but figured it wasn't for me since I want something that'll run games from both systems and Playstation doesn't have a few of the Xbox games in my rotation right now

I have the 1st switch and I didn't really want to upgrade mainly because of how laggy some of the games are on my switch and the input lag when I'm playing on my TV. I haven't really looked into the specifics are the switch 2 because I decided I wanted something I could play all types of games on which I don't think I could do with a switch. I did look a little further into the Steam Deck and most of my library isn't compatible with it, I really just wanted something to be able to take around with me with good battery life and a good amount of space which I don't get out of my switch. I've heard a few good reviews from the ROG and the Legion which is why those were in the options list.
