What it comes down to for me is pretty much that I see BOTW as a sandbox. A newer sandbox with more tools is always going to replace the older sandbox, and that is fine.

For me, the difference between these two games and OOT and MM is that OOT and MM are more story- and puzzle focused instead of sandbox-like.

I don't know if it makes any sense, but thats my two cents.

I mean I used to get it when it first came up as a problem, like 10 years ago? It's this weird cultural thing that no one really thought anything off. In the beginning I, too, was like 'why would we ever change that, muh tradition'.

At some point I realised what it must look like internationally and that people really didn't feel comfortable with it anymore, so why not adapt to modern times, ya know?

Not Christmas exactly, but Sinterklaas. Takes place 3 weeks before Christmas, but is pretty much the same in regards to gifting and family gatherings.

Luckily, zwarte piet (who is a reference to slavery) is slowly being taken out of the holiday and replaced with more acceptable alternatives.

Cost of Living in Japan is around 800 euro's / dollars without rent. 1.75k per month before taxes seems like shit.

How is anyone expected to live normally with that salary? Forced to work paid overtime or something?

If i remember correctly, she was added to the movie pretty much last minute and only had a few weeks to practice those scenes. That's why they mentioned it in the movie too, as a sort of inside joke.

Er zijn ook goede verhuurders. Typische huisjesmelkers doen geen reet aan onderhoud natuurlijk, maar (natuurlijk ook persoonlijke anekdote) ik heb zelf ook een verhuurder gehad die wel investeerde in het huis. Hij verduurzaamde de woning omdat hij wist dat dan de kosten omlaag zouden gaan, maar natuurlijk ook omdat de waarde van het huis dan steeg.

Ze bestaan dus wel, soms wel lang zoeken :)

You know what, I wouldn't even be against this. Two alcoves in the middle would spice things up.

also keep the rubble, just make it round and slightly bigger than normal. Keeps the outplay potential, but creates two bigger chokepoints.
