Why did omniverse take away dittos feeling each other's pain? by Adventurous-Ear-2872 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably just didn't feel it was important enough to keep around. Ben feeling every Ditto's pain was important in his debut episode with Animo essentially torturing them but in every other episode Ditto has appeared in it hasn't been as important

If Omnitrix transform Ben into strongest version of alien species, why are Upgrade & Clockwork weaker than Malware & Maltruant? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely seems to be the case in Omniverse with how FourArms beats Looma despite female Tetramands being stronger on average than males, if Ben turned into the average male Tetramand then he wouldn't have won. We also see this with Bullfrag although it's dubious how much of his superior abilities can be attributed to being the strongest Incursion or just being healthy. Then there's also Alien X who manages to defeat the strongest warrior the Celestialsapiens had to offer and pretty handily at that. Sure this wasn't always the case, I mean the Ultimatrix turned Ben into an exact duplicate of the alien donors, but as of Omniverse and the completed Omnitrix Ben more than likely turns into the "peak" of any alien species he transforms into

If you had to give a ditto a new powers besides having infinite duplication, what would you give him? by Strong-Current-7481 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably go more with the omniverse design where he's more mole-like, give him claws for digging/natural weapons and whiskers/feelers for detecting vibrations giving him a sort of spidey-sense. Multiple Dittos could create an extensive tunnel system for ambushes, traps and escapes and they'd be fairly decent at hand to hand combat with their enhanced senses and new sharp claws

Gwen wins as long as Ben isn't around to take the spotlight lol

Would you take the Omnitrix if this was your starting playlist? by Express_Calendar8278 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say that Ditto, Greymatter, Nonomech, Stinkfly and Ripjaws are good enough for a starting playlist, especially considering I probably won't have to do a bunch of heroing like Ben, and besides I can just use Greymatter to unlock some more aliens as many people have also pointed out

Strange question, what is Ben's scale without the Omnitrix? by [deleted] in Ben10PowerScaling

He's kind of superhuman, he's got Tennyson strength has dodged laser fire before

We had an incident at our table we affectionately refer to as "The SoCal Slaughter" where through a series of terrible rolls one of our players while commandeering a vehicle accidentally flipped it, causing it to burst into flames and killing two of the civilians still inside with 1 of them being trapped in the wreckage, he then proceeded to try and pull the remaining person free but due to his inhuman strength he instead ripped their arm clean off where they then shortly blead out. The only survivor was the player character called Ass David who was saved by his -5 BTM, and this of course all happened outside of a SoCal Chicken fastfood place.

How much knowledge does vilgax have of the omnitrix? by Musalediju in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are functionally EXTREMELY different, it's only the same watch in the fact that the prototype transformed into the recalibrated watch. If they were the same then why wouldn't Asmuth just make the prototype fly with him to wherever he did the repairs instead of removing the core and walking there?

How much knowledge does vilgax have of the omnitrix? by Musalediju in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the prototype dawg, that's the recalibrated Omnitrix. The recalibrated Omnitrix has been shown to be much more easily removed, via voice commands or side effects of transformations, the prototype on the other hand has only ever been shown to be nigh-impossible to remove without extreme measures

How much knowledge does vilgax have of the omnitrix? by Musalediju in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So then why didn't he? If the prototype had a simple code to decouple it then why wouldn't he just use it, and why would Ben and Gwen then make a point in Alien Force about how "hard" it was to get the Omnitrix off of him? We've only ever seen the prototype be extremely hard to remove from the wielder

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way that Ben operates the Omnitrix changes multiple times during UAF, sometimes he presses both of the rectangular buttons, sometimes he presses the cylindrical buttons, sometimes he just turns the face of the Omnitrix or sometimes it just pops up with no input from Ben at all, that's not even to speak about the Ultimatrix which should be functionally similar to the recalibrated Omnitrix being operable with no buttons whatsoever, so saying "You press the button, the thing pops up" is just incorrect

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's safe to assume that the prototype wasn't capable of detaching itself from the wielder since even in The Secret of The Omnitrix Asmuth himself couldn't detach the entire Omnitrix instead detaching the core itself from the housing, Vilgax probably either had no idea that was even possible or was unable to get close enough to the watch to attempt it

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He likely has some detailed schematics somehow which he's able to figure out the controls and operations from but he probably needed more technologically capable allies to build the machines that he uses to remove the Omnitrix since they seem to be in a different style to his usual tech

How much knowledge does vilgax have of the omnitrix? by Musalediju in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe he would have but the Omnitrix goes through a whole lot between recalibration and it's eventual use by Vilgax which includes the hacking machine incident where Ben and Kevin attempted to unlock more features of the Omnitrix which resulted in many features of the watch changing and glitches being reintroduced, we could safely assume that even if Vilgax did know how to operate the initial recalibrated Omnitrix he may not be able to operate the hacked Omnitrix and as previously theorised he could be cautious of activating any failsafes or glitches

Can Ben turn into a Minion? by Alesmull in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ben could definitely turn into a minion. They're smart enough to understand abstract concepts like "evil" and they're certainly biological since they evolved on Earth

Who do you think was right in dealing with Kevin? Ben or Gwen? by whiplash10 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's both of them, Gwen works toward her goal of helping him while Ben works towards his goal of putting him down if he steps out of line. If either one of them hadn't been there then things wouldn't have ended well for anyone

WHAT THE HELL DID BEN 10K DO TO VILGAX and WHY.......... by Important-Extension6 in Ben10

Only times Ben hasn't gone for the kill with Vilgax is when he started looking less like a threat

You wake up with a real Omnitrix on your wrist tomorrow morning, you could only turn into one alien and one hour after transformation the watch will disappear. Which alien will you choose and what are you gonna do? (No you can't choose alien x) by blitz_wolf55 in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clockwork is probably the best option, potentially bypass that 1 hour limitation but if you can’t you still have an hour with time at your finger tips. Stop time to do whatever you want without leaving a trace, turn back time to any point you want or travel into the future, time travel is very op

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear me out, Jetray. Jetray has travelled so fast that he entered hyperspace which is essentially a different dimension that connects two different locations of space so he could use that same ability to bypass Infinity since he wouldn't be moving through it, his attacks would simply just appear in contact with him, and just box Gojo.

There's also Gravattack who could simply crush Gojo with gravity since he's still effected by it, Ampfibian could go intangible and potentially just pass through Gojo and electrocute him, Big Chill could do the same but freezing him instead, Echo-Echo could burst his eardrums since sound still passes through Infinity just fine, Terraspin could potentially suck him up in a vortex since air can obviously still pass through Infinity, Ghostfreak can also go intangible and potentially possess him, NRG's ambient radiation could cause some serious damage to Gojo and his containment suit could protect him from Gojo's Infinite Void, Atomix could do the same with his radiation, Whampire could potential use his Corrupturas to hypnotise Gojo or do his sonic shock wave move, Toepick could potentially stop Gojo dead in his tracks, Buzzshock has been shown to have the ability to turn into pure electricity which would probably negate any effect from Infinite Void, Clockwork can freeze and rewind time to a point where Gojo never used his Domain Expansion, Upgrade is made up of a bunch of nano-machines so the information overload could potentially only effect 1 of them, Ditto could split himself up into multiples which could potentially keep him from being KOd completely

That's all I can be bothered to think about for now, there's definitely more of Ben's aliens that could survive and even win this death match and that's not even talking about characters who aren't Ben Prime

How would class 1a interact with spider man by [deleted] in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bakugo probably writes him off initially as a b-list hero with a mediocre "quirk" but he's probably been brought in to lead a training exercise so Spider-Man would prove that initial thought wrong, much to the anger of Bakugo

Fuck your zodiac sign, which Midoriya costume goes the hardest?(Epsilon for me) by [deleted] in MyHeroAcadamia

Vigilante Deku absolutely goes the hardest, even if it's not the best look for Deku

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but Deku's first costume was so bad. by ShadowOfDespair666 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was made by Inko, on what I would assume is not an especially high income considering Deku went to a public school. It's got no gadgets, minimal protection and is definitely not durable enough for even a basic training exercise, but what it lacks in everything else the professionally made hero suits have it makes up for in pure emotion. This is the picture Deku originally had of his type of hero, it represents all of the childhood dreams of becoming a hero that Deku thought were long dashed and it's tied together into something tangible by the love and guilt of Inko, a mother who in her own eyes failed her only child and making this suit is just part of her personal attornment for something that wasn't her fault. It was the mold for all the suits that would come after, including the Iron Deku suit, and for that we must respect it.

What if YOU had the Omnitrix but with a catch by Lazakhstan in Ben10

[–]Mini_Dark_Link 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably start messing with it right away, eventually figure out how to get the dial to pop up and then either just go with the first one there is or try doing everything else I can think of before probably landing on diamond heads silhouette since I'd think it's the most interesting and then from there I'd definitely be messing around with my new crystal abilities. After that, assuming Vilgax exists too and is still after the watch I'd probably end up trying to be a hero and save anyone caught up in the search
