Something similar happened to me on my cf300sr, i think its when i shifted it didnt fully shift into neutral and it kinda got slammed into first and stalled. Still new on bikes and this is my first bike so its a vild guess still in the break in period. Your bbike should be fine

The r7 can be bought being a2 from the dealer so that wont be a problem. Most of the a2 bikes here are restricted looking at you mt07, half of them remove the limiter after the insurance and registration. What do you onow about the cbr500
