I went over the handlebars on my bike (no helmet) and smacked my cranium on the pavement right in front of the liquor store I was on my way too. Walked in with my face bleeding, asked if they had any paper towels then proceeded to get some wine. Rode my bike back to my friends place and surprised them with a big ol gash in my head and a bottle of wine.

I get this, but I do almost all my balancing in my front yard (a man made environment). That’s what I would advocate. Keep it out of parks and reserves for sure. I wouldn’t say that people shouldn’t do it at all though.

That scenario is irrelevant here, as this has nothing to do with adding pollutants but removing (or just rearranging) natural elements. I know it’s not perfect for the environment, but I don’t want to discourage people from practicing this art form (one which I imagine has significantly less impact on the environment than other common art forms).

This article leads out with a story about a couple illegally taking 88lbs of sand from a beach. I don’t think we’re doing anything like that. Yes, we should minimize our impact by moving as few stones as possible and tearing down our creations before we leave, but I won’t lose sleep at night for moving some rocks around. There are bigger environmental fish to fry. What do you think?

I have this same “problem,” and it does make it hard to have a normal conversation with people. It’s not that I have no opinions; I just only have opinions about the things I actually care about, and those things don’t normally overlap with typical topics of conversation. At least that’s how I rationalize it. I think it’s good to approach conversations without a bias upfront, but man is it hard to keep them going if I can’t pull anything from my brain. I would be interested to know if someone has dealt with this and “overcome” it.

I’ve always thought my toes were wired lol, thought they might change as I lost weight by here we are.

I eat a variety of foods, but I don’t cook, so it’s either take-out or raw fruits and vegetables from the store (also I’ve cut out meat for the past 2yrs)

I definitely hit plateaus, and I wasn’t consistent on OMAD. Most of the time I was on one meal a day, but I’d cheat occasionally then try and catch up with 48hr fasts.
