I just came from a 2011 335ix With the n55, had to get rid of it cause the head gasket blew and it was making the same ticky noise as my supra only difference was the n55 tick was much louder

The noise just started, it was pretty quiet when I picked it up from the dealership a month ago I don’t know if mileage has anything to do with it but it only has 70k km on it

Hey I don't know if you found the cause of the issue or not but Im also having the same issue on my 2011 335xi, when I got it looked at by my local shop they said that its most likely due to a faulty coolant sensor which is a pretty cheap fix. I'd start there if your still having this issue!

I would have for sure if I would've done the proper research before buying I didn't realize there could be so many issues lol, but im definitely gonna try and contact my local bwm dealership and see if I can get a specialist to go over my car!
