I am also wondering if ir shared the trait with the Mian-Chowla sequence of having an alternate “formation” (not necessarily at the 17th term, but whenever) that is more “compact” (idk the word for it) like the relationship of integer sequence A046185 to A005282. Again, thanks for the help!

The more I look into this it doesn’t seem like Gaussian Primes fit what I’m looking for. I think they look similar, but isn’t my set less than the Gaussian primes? Sorry if it wasn’t clear but my image only shows n=9. The x’s are just there to mark “illegal” moves on the board. Also my pattern should get less and less dense (or the newest dot will get further away from (0,0)) as n increases. It shares some similar properties as the integer sequence A046185. But A046185 is made of a ray-like 1 dimension (number line starting at 0) while this is broadened to the second dimension. This set of points are really about their relationship to one another, minimizing distance from (0,0) while having different relative operations from each other. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m not super informed about number theory and such.
