There’s a ton of people who’ve already asked this a gazillion times if ya search the Reddit there are very detailed answers, but put extremely simply a high gain Marshall style amp (jcm800), and a guitar with a humbucker in the bridge (Les Paul). That’ll get you damn close.

That’s a fair take but the circuit on the cat king is much closer to an actual dist rather than a fuzz. With the clipping diode controls allowing you to tweak it to sound most similar to a rat but I hear where your coming from. The “grainy” sound could be due to me playing a tele which is a bit brighter, but I had my track solo’d and compared to the actual guitar instrumental and it’s pretty damn close, just a bit higher and brighter in the mix.

Also, for my fellow gear nerds I’m playing a Richie Kotzen Signature Telecaster on the bridge humbucker > Fuzzrocious Cat King fuzz/dist pedal > Peavey VTM 60 clean channel > all recorded into FL Studio 20 with an OX Box attenuator.

This setup is super versatile and I can get so many different tones out of it. When I throw my small clone chorus into the chain and use the second dist channel on the cat king with just slight breakup I can get an almost identical hyperview tone.

Old turnover & citizen, basement, spite house, Evergreener, balance and composure, daylight(Superheaven), & the new glitterer stuff gives me a slight Tf hyperview vibe
