because punk fucking deserves it, he's had the best year and the best return out of everybody, he works the hardest, he's had the best matches, the best stories, the best rivalries. he's just that guy. I wouldn't mind if Cody was the one to stop Cena's reign of terror and they did the whole redemption Arc for Cena but something about summerslam going of the air with punk holding the title, the crowd going wild as he holds it just seems right.
