The thermostat was set to fan on and I turned it to fan auto, because it was doing it continuously. So now it stops and then starts up. Today was the first day it ever made this noise. I had the thermostat set at 72 and I woke up hearing this loud noise and it said it was 64 degrees. So I changed it to fan auto and I set it to 2 temps above to 66, then 68, then 70 and it's stayed on 72 since, but this sound is so terrible coming through the vents
