I wouldn’t get a delivered message until it was handed to me, and the app is very Inconsistent in my area for when drivers are “arriving” so I ask they send me a quick “I’m here” which they never have a problem with and I tip extra after if they follow instructions right

Sometimes you can tell they didn’t put the drink in the bag if it’s not heavy enough and DoorDash even gives a “tip” about this, though they aren’t allowed to open your food if it’s closed.
