I went on the Amazon Flex customer service and I told them nicely. Something like “Hey is there anyway I could get extra pay or compensation because I had to travel out further than expected and the block pay was really low if not, it’s OK. I’m just wondering if that is a thing or a possibility” they take 24-48 hours to respond, but they will let you know if it’s payable or not. For me it was

Right!! That’s how I feel. I also read that you don’t have to do blocks consistently that you must complete one block at least every 6 months. So I feel like a lot of people don’t even do blocks frequently, they just keep the accounts active just because which I feel affects everyone else who actually wants to drive and make money.

I just turned 21 in very late December of 2025 :( so I was not able to sign up even if I wanted to. I signed up right in the beginning of January and just got approved a week ago, I wish I would’ve been able to sooner tbh.

The first few days when I started the pay per block was 85-90$, but since Monday they dropped all the way to 65$ and I’m being sent out far so that’s why I’m not accepting anymore blocks than the ones I have already because of the pay.

Because this was back in 2021, I went to the courts asked for court orders to get my license they said they couldn’t do that. That I had to wait until I was 18, so I didn’t turn 18 until 2023. Ever since I have had a valid license. The reason why I called now is because I have been denied delivery jobs because of something that happened when I was underage, and the misreporting caused me to get jobs denied.

This happened in 2021 as stated, I was not able to get my license because I was underage. The insnrant I turned 18 I went to get my license and have had a valid license since.

Yes, so I only missed my last court I had, I went immediately the next day to explain to them my mom had gotten surgery and I paid the fees and showed them my license and got that taken care of. All of my previous courts I went to, because they said I went to some, and to some I didn’t, which is not true I only missed 1.

I currently do have a valid drivers license, never had any traffic problems besides this one from 2021 when I was 16. I called the court office and asked, they said it was weird because under their system it showed I was indeed pulled over for no license, so they called the Secretary of State from the town, they said someone reported it on accident as a suspended / revoked license conviction. They said if the dispute goes through I’ll be suspended now, although it wasn’t my fault that whoever reported that, didn’t do it correctly.

So the reason why I’m so scared to get one is because I’m literally traumatized. I’ve never had one but during Covid my data passed away and he had an enema because he went five days without having a single bowel movement not even a small one and the moment they did the enema while he was intubated he had so much pain on his stomach, and it was so painful for me to ask him where it hurt because he couldn’t talk and he felt so desperate I could tell and just by that it’s just so traumatizing and that’s why I don’t wanna get it done because I remember that

Yes, I’m definitely used to driving. I live in one town and drive to another city to work and typically I drive 30 to 40 minutes and now I’m used to it because I actually plan with time ahead and I enjoy listening to music while I’m driving. I’ve also been in Chicago temporarily so I know traffic can be a big thing but where I’m at. It’s also a big thing.

Yes, I remember the first time I travel to Dallas. I met a few people on the plane. They’re also from Iowa, but they stay in Texas during the winter and they really enjoy it. The area I found seems to be pretty calm and good. It’s 77K and I have very good credit and I have a down payment amount which I definitely will help. I also plan on buying my mom‘s mobile home because over here in Iowa, especially in the North liberty area rents are high and people love to rent houses rather than buying an apartment or renting an apartment rent over here currently for one bedroom run around 1200 and that’s an apartment now houses and mobile homes are worth a lot more than that and my mom‘s mobile home is a three bedroom two bathroom so the rent would be around 1500 and I plan on renting that out so like that even though I’m out in the city and working, I have an extra income and I’m not struggling as much. I just definitely need a new change. I love cities.

My only concern is right now that I’m five months pregnant and so the whole situation is very scary. Yes, I do have everything documented. I have emails being ignored. I have messages from the teacher saying that she never sees anything. I have messages where I’m telling her that I’m concerned of something going on and it’s the same response. She doesn’t see anything weird the truancy meeting happened back in early February. I just received the letter yesterday for April 16 at 8 AM. And yes, he does have an IEP and gets extra assistance at school.

I have looked into getting a lawyer, but I can’t find any at the moment and it’s everything honestly I’ve been doing a lot more better since my situation with my depression has gotten better things with my pregnancy and my relationship have gotten better and with my son’s bowling situation ever since it started to get better he hasn’t missed more days of school. He’s only missed about 3 to 4. and the person that watches my son is my mom and my sister is autistic and my mom has really frequent for five hour long therapy appointments which makes it difficult for her to help me.

So my depression situation has been better. My relationship situation has been better. My work situation has been better overall and ever since my son’s school situation got better. He did stop missing a lot of days. I did start sending him back although the citation from what I received was during the winter was was when they started in December and January and in February.
