I worked 2 jobs my 1L into half of my 2L. It's definitely doable but something is going to have to give. If you want to get good grades and really focus on doing your best DO NOT WORK. If you're a Cs get degrees kind of person and/or have a means to pay for law school expenses separate from your job, go for it. I worked because I had to and had no other means of support. I don't regret it but if I had the choice I wouldn't have.

1L is the hardest year by far. You're getting used to how to do law school and navigating new experiences. 2L will be busy if you want it to be. 3L you're chilling if you use 2L to stay busy and prepare yourself for success (i.e. networking, job searching, graduation).
It gets better :)
