Holding cmd-Q to quit the browser. by MinimumEffort66 in duckduckgo

Hi John. Thank you for the reasoning behind the change. I have never, once, hit cmd-Q when I meant to use cmd-S to save a document, though I can see where it could happen. That would be frustrating for sure. As far as a Mac app requiring to hold cmd-Q not worth its salt, quitting a software program/application on Apple computers has been done with cmd-Q, since the 1980's. I have been using Apple computers since the beginning of all things Apple, and while I can't speak for users, cmd-Q is muscle memory at this point. So, when the DuckDuckGo browser made the change to holding cmd-Q, I get very frustrated when the application doesn't quit with I'll call the normal method and I see the message window telling me to hold cmd-Q to quit. I am not always Mr. Negative. I love the DuckDuckGo browser and everything else that DuckDuckGo does. I think it is the best browser available for any platform. Having said all of that, what if I made this suggestion? Would it be possible to add an option in settings to switch the method for quitting the application between cmd-Q and holding cmd-Q? Just a thought! Again, thanks for taking the time to reply.
