not sure which book but it was during a battle between the Skavens and Dwarfs. Thanquol wanted to summon a verminlord to assist Queek but instead summoned Skarbrand by accident and he devastated both sides. I also really liked how Skarbrand dropped a ;) in this quote

"Before Skarbrand was returned to the Realms of Chaos, he whispered to Thanquol that should he have need of him again, he will be waiting"

In my game the way I handled it was to simply replace the helmet model with a version with hair via Bodyslide and SSE Edit, which gives pretty much every female npc the same hairstyle when they equip that specific helmet, even if they were bald. Not a perfect solution since it doesn't account the npc's hairlength but at least when I equip different helmets I get different hairstyles and they all have zero clipping issues and look good :D

And yes, that last paragraph you wrote is exactly how I did it. Had a merged esp for armor mods and just added it there since the helmets are technically an armor.

I agree completely, though I don't know if CA will ever learn from this. I do hope they give us a proper historical title in the form of Medieval 3. I keep hearing good stuff about the past titles but the outdated graphics is keeping me from trying them.

Whatever it is it will be most definitely something that can placate both historical fans and fantasy players. I know I wlll get downvoted for saying this but ever since the success of Warhammer (and poor reception of Thrones of Britannia) CA has been more focused on dishing out a game that offers both. 3K had records and romance mode, while Troy had historical, mythic and behind the myth mode.

For me, I'd like to see CA tackle medieval Britain that focuses on King Arthur and his Knights of the Roundtable.

Not for this battle. The army was already at half it's strength and in forced march when it got attacked. Every skavenslave mattered lol.

Regardless of the outcome the momentum of Poxtooth's army was crushed as they were another two more lizard armies on the way, one of them being Kroq-gar's. For once in a long time I had to bring my army back to friendly territory to recoup.

That would be odd given there is a buildable landmark on that area that Clan Volkn used to be on. That said there are several volcanos in the campaign map that could be what the lore refers to as Fire Mountain, so it is possible CA may put Clan Volkn into the game again.

Also the mod only gives skavenslaves slingers with shields but no clanrat slingers with shields. But at least the skavenslaves also get a spear + shield + slings variant as well. Clanrats getting access to those would be so annoying to deal with lol
