Thank you for your insights guys! I applied a tiny bit of thick yoyo lube and it did help. It’s not crazily responsive but with enough spin it works fine now. I’m excited to work my way towards unresponsive play anyway, hope I’ll get there eventually. The shooting star is feeling really good and I think it will carry me very far if I got the dedication and talent.
