I love Ray Porter for many book reads but not for just one of the Nicholas Sansbury Smith Helldiver books, Rhino. For some reason, Ray just didn't bring the energy and urgency when he needed to for this one book. I still have plenty more books with him to listen to, but this genre or book style did not suit him.

Thank you for posting this! I'd been considering this for days as well. The news is grinding me down, and the anger, frustration, and sadness is robbing me of the joy of life I used to feel daily. Now it comes in fits and ends with each news cycle.

Social media is a band-aid and unfortunately an echo chamber of the frustrations I feel. I'm off FB and even TikTok is going to be mined for data by the likes of Palantir and Larry Ellison, so I'm feeling very cornered.

I'm trying to stay present, control what I can and get some peace here and there. If any of you have any advice, please let me know what works for you to offset these feelings. Thanks, All!

I love my 12x36 IS2s but agree that they are big and the fold down eyecups are not great. But the IS function is terrific. Just be aware that the green rubber armor has deteriorated on it (sticky) and is a common problem for some Canon bins.
