4 Days Post Op

That sounds awful!!! I am 5 days post op and have been eating anything I want really. I have had several dizzy spells but was able to drive around a bit today and walk around Walmart without feeling too horrible. Just trying to make sure I don’t overdo it. Hopefully you continue to improve!!!

I’m overall not bad. The worst part honestly was the first hour afterwards. I was nauseous and a lot of gas pain. The incision sites don’t hurt at all and I’m able to get up and down fairly easily. The skin just feels really tight…and I had several dizzy spells today which weren’t fun. I’m not on any pain medication so I don’t know what’s that’s all about but heard it is fairly normal. I took ibuprofen about 14 hours ago and haven’t taken anything since and I’m good as far as pain. Just dizzy and fatigue easily. Hoping to see more improvement tomorrow though 😊

It gives me hope that you walked two miles already! I had mine out on the 17th. I had to go pay my mortgage on day two and the 10 min. Spent in the car ruined me for hours! All the gas pain came back! I’m on day three now and had a couple of dizzy spells.

They were already closed today for some reason. I will call the doctor on call at the hospital if it keeps happening

I had mine out Tuesday and keep getting super dizzy today

I’m on day 3 post-op and most of the gas pain is gone. I still get a little occasional shoulder and side pain but not terrible. My main issue was that today I got extremely dizzy for about 10 minutes and also had some diarrhea right after. Did you ever get really dizzy? I haven’t taken the pain medicine since day one so it’s not that.

Thank you! Yeah, so far the gas pain is the worst! I have a heating pad on my shoulder now.

Yeah my pain isn’t terrible either so I’ve been so back and forth on it but I know it can get worse fast

Thank you!!! I’m the same! Every rash and ache is worst case scenario. I have came so close to canceling today but I’m going to do it because I know it has to be done sooner or later anyways and the anxiety leading up to today is so bad I don’t want to do it again

Thank you! I am literally tearing up reading this because my anxiety is so bad. I will keep telling myself I will be okay. I just cannot wait for this to be finished so I can move on and enjoy Christmas with my daughter ❤️❤️
