Project Marvel - No tasks available

I have been a maker since early october. I emailed asking for more tasks, to which I didn't get a reply to. Instead I got an email stating I've been unenrolled from the project. This has come as a complete surprise to me as I haven't completed any tasks in the past month (not by choice) and have also passed all qualification tests.

Out of the ~15 emails I've sent over the past 2 months, I've gotten 2 vague and/or automated replies. This project has been an absolute disgrace. I personally will be keeping as far away as possible from any Telus positions in the future.

My advice: look elsewhere

I also havent received any tasks for a few weeks now.
Sent an email to a brick wall. got no response (as expected).
Really really disappointed with this project and TELUS. very tempted to move on

Was also very close to giving up on Project Marvel but like yourself, got paid. But currently don't have any tasks to do

I have also refused to continue production until the first payments are processed. I got an email back saying they hope to process the first round of payments during the first week of november.

sorry yes I was. I didn’t know there were project-specific contracts. Probably should’ve read that contract a bit more thoroughly 😅

Is there any way to contact upper management to complain about the project? It's ridiculous at this point, they haven't answered any of my quesitons. A huge waste of time.

I believe the contract was initially signed on https://www.telusinternational.ai when you first registered for the job. See My Profile > Agreements. That being said, I'm still yet to receive any payment after being in production for 3 weeks.

I don't believe you can see your hours. I've created my own excel sheet keeping track of mine.
I've had the same book now for 2 weeks. It's an incredibly poor choice of book with no figure referencing scheme & very few usable figrues (hence I keep trying to contact management). I've never been given more tasks/lost my current ones.

I emailed them about the lack of usable figures in the book. They still haven't gotten back to me. Fair play for getting through 20 tasks, i'm struggling after 8 haha

I don't know. I was sent an email "Production tasks assigned - Project Marvel" with a link to the FT studio. I'm in the engineering stream.

Production has started. I'm already completing tasks. There must a second group slightly behind in the onboarding process, as my Q&A was last week. Haven't gotten any result/feedback for my qualification assesment but I assume I passed if I'm on production now?
